Summer is just around the corner and one thing anyone can bet on is the multiple movie blockbusters Hollywood dishes out. To me the summer for Hollywood starts in May and ends in August. Therefore, the movies that will be released in that time frame are certain to bring out audiences in droves, unless they already downloaded their bootleg copy.
"Death Sentence, " recently released on DVD, stars Kevin Bacon as Nick Hume, a family man with a "Leave it to Beaver" attitude and who cares deeply for his family's safely. The movie is directed by James Wan, whom many know as the creator of the "Saw" horror movies.
ampus of DCCC, sultry sounds could be heard floating through the air, coming from the direction of the Little Theatre. Those sounds just happened to be coming from the Jazz Band and Combo, under the direction of Charles Meyer, performing anything from, "Latin, funky, rock," to swing, to music that made you want to get up and boogie.
A paper moon, a mischievous bandit, an imaginary wall all come together to make a wonderful show, otherwise known as, "The Fantasticks." The show was performed in the Little Theatre from April 18-20 and was wonderfully performed. The cast consisted of Andy Denton and Seth Salmans as Matt, Emily Konrade and Alicia Ocker as Luisa, Cindy Thomson as Amy Lynette Bellomy, Danielle Clark as Bev Hucklebee, Adam Keda as El Gallo and the narrato, Miguel Vega as Henry Albertson, Allen Hernandez as Mortimer and Kaleena Setzkorn and Audrey Combs as The Mute.
