It's hard to hear that Tipton is leaving. Tipton encourage me, and inspired me to write in ways I had no idea I could, while I was a Conquistador writer in 2007-2008. I always recall the trip to Washington D.C. and the new things I learned. At times I was ready to quit, and life was an issue. I couldn't have had the opportunities I had in DC3, if it hadn't being for Tipton's encouragement, hope, and strength. I can now write with pride and without fear. Conquistador has come a long way from 2007-2010, thank you for your overtime, and extra effort. DC3 will miss you.
