To help boost the budget, Dodge City Community College has had to cut from the budget about two percent, according to Dodge City Globe. Due to the budget being condensed, DCCC will look to cut a few programs, DCCC President Richard Burke told the Globe. Also in the Globe, a list of potential cuts for fiscal year 2010 will include a list of open positions for 60 days, reducing staff and cutting funding for new programs and marketing.

Conqs' season ends with loss to Cowley; DCCC wins 18 games

The Conqs closed out their season after losses to Cowley and winning one of four games against Butler. They dropped both games to Cowley, 8-3 and 6-3, in the first round of the NJCAA Region VI playoffs. The Conqs finished their season with a record of 18-34 and 9-23.
